This 9 step approach not only deeply cleanses, exfoliates, and hydrates the skin, but also stimulates collagen production and improves skin elasticity.

FAQs

  • No. Those with particularly sensitive skin may experience a little flushing after the Hydra-SMOOTH due to the exfoliation from dermaplaning, but this usually subsides within a few hours.

  • You can apply makeup immediately after but ideally it would be best to wait until the following day.

  • You can have any hydradermabrasion facial except the Hydra-FIRM (due to the radiofrequency and micro current elements). However, please do inform me during our consultation if you are pregnant as I sometimes incorporate LED light therapy during the treatments and this would need to be avoided.

  • Not at all. The thought of a blade sliding across your face is a scary one, I agree, but it’s not painful at all and many clients find it relaxing.

  • Contrary to what you’ve been told, dermaplaning (and shaving) does not make your hair grow back thicker or darker. The reason hair may feel different after dermaplaning/shaving is simply because the hair has been cut straight across, but in reality it’s the same texture it was before and will continue to grow at the same speed. Removing fine vellus hair allows deeper penetration of skincare products as well as a giving a smoother base to apply makeup.

  • Yes! I am qualified to VTCT Level 4 and fully insured.

  • Bespoke facials may be performed on clients under 18. A parent/guardian must be present at all times during and written consent is required before treatment can commence.
